Air/Vacuum Leak in dash

Recently had the heater core replaced in my truck and now i get this air or vacuum leak sound from behind the dash. What i could find searching suggests its the doors on the hvac system. I didn't see anything about the noise changing as you accelerate, as mine does, so im not sure if this is the same problem. AC still works fine, does jump to defrost on steep hills but it's done that forever. If it's not this what else might it be? Also isthis something the shop could have damaged taking the dash out, or back together? Not really looking forward to having to put more money into it...

Thanks for any input.

Could be one of the actuators or a broken vacuum line under the dash. Start it up and see if you can lay under the dash and pinpoint the leak. Hopefully its not something that requires the dash to come out again.

Replace the two little check valves in the vacuum line on the right side of the engine (one near the intake, the other by the cruise servo), that should get rid of your dash switching to defrost on the hills.

F.Y.I. incase anyone else has this happen, it turned out to be the throttle plate. The seal from replacing the heater core didn't take so i could hear it opening up in the cab, redo the seal and a little extra on the otherside for good measure and all is right.

I took it back to the shop and the redid the seal and took some type of puddy and put that on the firewall in the engine compartment
