Shanes66 has one on his truck and its bad ass. I think you have to used a CAI (k & n is what he had i believe) i have read they are pricey but worth it if thats what you want IMO. Do a search and it will come up in the forums.

Terry Delong is the guy at Proglass that you want to talk to. To make it truly functional one must use the Airraid or kn fipk. He sells the kn. Talk to him... he is great and the product is awesome....

how much is that hood it looks awsome

 

The hood is 1195.00 it is delivered in a sandable gel coat.
I have just shy of 2000.00 total invested into it. That includes shipping and a KN-FIPK.

 

Damn thats awesome makes me want one the more i look ...lol

 

Just curious, i was just wondering what the engine bay looked like with the hood up.

how does that work as far as driving in a down pour, etc? I wanted to get one for my Dak for the longest time, but I was wondering about those circumstances.

I haven't had issues yet with rain. I have not driven it yet in an out and out down pour but there are two drain holes for trapped water. Here are some under hood pictures should be self explaintory.
