Ok so I think its time for me to get a higher stall converter. I was leaning towards a 3000rpm stall but I see a nice 3200rpm stall in the classifieds and I'm just wondering if 3200rpm might be to high of a stall for the street? My truck is a weekend warrior and I don't plan on towing anything and will be hitting the track on a regular basis once I get it out of winter storage.

No problem at all, I say go for it.

My Edge 2800 stall actually hits 3000rpm at full throttle launch
Had it since August last year and gotta say its one of my favorite mod's

We're built up just about the same, and sounds like we use our trucks the same.

(LOL, I used to have a Blacked out 07' R/T Caliber too, )

I just ordered another 2500 stall converter from APS. I had to keep it low because I pull a rather large travel trailer. The one I had in my 2004 Hemi Ram was great! And, when I kept my foot out of it I got a little better MPG's

VIP, will you be going to Cayuga or St. Thomas? Let me know if you are going to Cayuga and we can meet up, I have only made it up once this year so far, but plan to go more often. I can't even tell my 2800 is in there, a 3200 would probably be fine.

A used converter is like a used condom.
You have no idea what your getting,or where its been.

Most stalls are not exact,so ordering a 2800 stall might net you a 3000 stall as stated above.
I would order a 2600 or a 2800 just to be safe.either one will be a massive improvement over stock.
Edge or Cirle-D would be my first choices.

You have a 2600 stall now,but its a POS just like our 2300 stalls.
A built stall from Edge or Cirle-D will run much quicker and run cooler than your stock converter.
No reason to go any bigger unless you have a reason too.

LOL @ used condom :thatfunny

If its the one I read in the for sale section it's only got a 100 miles on it

this one? http://www.dodgetalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=355207

I dont think it's worth saving $100 vs getting a new one custom made for your ride.
it "should" be made to match your Weight/HP/TQ/Gear Ratio/Tire Size specs....not someone elses
Do you know what the STR is on it?

Andre and Chris (Edge/Circle D) Both ask a TON of questions before they set up a custom built unit for your rig...isnt that worth an extra $100?

Ya thats the one. I was having second thoughts about a used converter even though it only has 100 miles on it. Now I think I will stay clear since my Ram only has 7000km on it i don't need to cheap out create any greif.
