For them that wanted to see
I did the DIY grill inset this weekend
It was remarkably easy supply list :
3 pieces of aluminum gutter guard
4 packs of 10 very small wood screws Think they where #6 by ¼ inch
4 packs of 10 star locking washer’s size to fit the #6 screws
1 pack of 10 self taping
1 section of PVC ¼ Inside diameter
1 pack of loop type hold downs
I can satin black rustolium spry paint
For the hood latch release I used a 4 inch piece of PVC with an inside diameter of ¼ inch out side was like ½ inch
I then ran a solid metal rod through the PCV and bent the end in a Hook shape and the bottom in a 90 angel.
